That was blunt, but I wanted to get your attention. :threaten:

:star::iconartistcooperative::star:

This is a new group that I founded to promote critiquing and unity among artists who wish to improve. As soon as we start growing, the hope is to become a hub for people to get advice and help on their artwork; and a home for articles, guides, and tutorials. I would love to see you there!

Visit #ArtistCooperative for a more detailed description of what we do. Thank you so much for your time!

Spread the word! :salute:

The best kind of friend is the kind you can sit on a porch, swing with, never say a word, and then walk away feeling like it was the best conversation you've ever had.

Thank you. :) And sorry for the late response D:

If are interested in doing digital art, it is ABSOLUTELY WORTH IT to get a pen tablet. Wacom is arguably the best brand for tablets. They have a lot of different tablets with varying price ranges. Usually, their Bamboo line is the cheapest (here's one on Amazon for $70). I personally use a Wacom Intuos 4 which cost me around $200. I had a $100 Wacom Graphire before this, and it lasted me years. So far the money I spent on my tablet has definitely been worth it. :)

There are cheaper tablets out there. Do a search on Amazon for "Drawing Tablet" and you'll find many options. But I advise you to stay away from non-Wacom tablets, especially the ones that are like $30. I know from experience, these are totally shit.

If you've never done art on the computer before, I would suggest waiting until you know you want to pursue it. A lot of artists do get by with a mouse, but it's much quicker, easier, and smoother to use a pen tablet (not to mention the magic of having pen pressure).
